THE MAN
Life has strange ways of making us realize that there are no set paths. Trusting your efforts is, perhaps, the closest thing to one. Where you end up doesn't really matter. What matters is to keep making efforts—especially those that bring Light to the heart.
Currently, my efforts are focused on teaching languages (science is also a language! or connecting people) and on sitting down to write. To teach or to write, one must first learn to listen. And to truly listen, one must first learn to let go one's own mental voice. But to let it go, one must first be profoundly disillusioned by what it can offer—more of what one already is, which leaves no room for transformation).
After nearly three years of freelancing, my first job after leaving academia was as a Custodian in a Benedictine Monastery. Submerged in solitude and mystic symbols, a new life appeared before me—one I had never imagined, yet felt closer to my heart. From there, I went on to work in a factory. These experiences revealed a hidden world that longs to be explored. And so, I've been exploring it.
I then moved from the factory to teaching at Wheaton College—my Alma Mater in many ways, as it allowed me to train my mind to search for my heart in whatever I find myself doing. Now, life has entrusted me with the task of teaching young people how to speak Spanish—my mother tongue. I aspire, with everything I am, to let my Soul guide every part of this new journey. Only in this way can I serve a higher purpose—one that doesn't take root in me alone. May that be.
I was a Research Scientist at the Max-Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, Germany. Before that, as a DAAD fellow, I was a Research Scientist at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Karlsruhe, Germany.
I completed my physics PhD at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Throughout my life, I have dedicated my time to learning new languages and writing stories. The following are the languages I learned and may still know (in one degree or another):
- Spanish (native), English (30+ yrs of experience)
- German (5 yrs of experience), French and Swedish (3 yrs of experience)
- Italian and Portuguese (2 yrs of experience)

Some of my skills that you might find useful are:
- Teaching languages and creating efficient entertaining lessons.
- Translating old texts and finding a new meaning in their words.
- Writing, editing, and research, especially for technical or scientific topics.
- Exploratory data analysis and visualization.
- Performing detailed calculations and providing necessary math or physics background for specific projects.
- Project Management.
